Among all of the talks I have given this year, “Sensing the Future” has become the most popular one.

In addition to my incoming presentation at Alcatel-Lucent’s Naperville auditorium on October 26, this month I’ve had the pleasure to deliver and discuss this topic at IIT’s VoIP and BIC.

My online postings have generated in excess of 500,000 impressions. This means the number of times my materials have been clicked on and displayed. My blog, consultaglobal, accounts for 50% of that.

“Anywhere, any device, anytime publishing” is a brief post featured by The Bloggers Bullentin.

I reflect on the fact that affordable consumer electronics coupled with web 2.0 services and mobile broadband enable any of us to communicate with anyone in the world, any way we like. This is, no doubt, revolutionary and I am lucky enough to experience it first hand. 

This year’s edition gathered 70+ executives from multinational corporations for a two day workshop on how to innovate in today’s challenging economy.

My presentation was broken down into two parts “Game Changers” and “Sensing the Future.”

I addressed emerging and disruptive trends and technologies capitalizing not only on market shifts, but also on less well understood paradoxes.

My delivery was rated 4+ by the attendees using a 0-5 scale.

I would like to take this chance to thank Felicia Davis again for all of the help she provided and the event’s success.

E&D is a two day conference that I spearheaded for the purpose of dealing with thought provoking concepts and what’s next in digital communications.

Note that we purposely decided to call the 2010 event “E&D 2011” to reinforce the point about having discussions on the industry’s future.

The agenda featured 20+ speakers from Bell Labs and Alcatel-Lucent product units and market research teams. I had the pleasure to give the keynote presentation.

Sintetia is a Spanish online magazine catering to economists.

In my interview I addressed questions regarding innovation in today’s challenging economic environment.

Interestingly enough, Sintetia’s editors have shared that their site has experienced a web traffic spike originated by the posting of my interview.

In the next few days I will be translating the transcript into English, which I will make available on my blog.

CTIA-The Wireless Association hosted its annual tradeshow at Las Vegas Conventions Center.

I  was there as part of the Alcatel-Lucent team conducting demonstrations on 4G: the next generation mobile broadband experience.
